The MKS MIDI Layer Returns
Piano 1 and EP 2 Chorus became a standard Gospel keyboard combination during the 1990s and early 2000s.
Two Modules Then. One Patch Now.
The original hardware module could play only one sound at a time. Before modern software instruments and flexible workstation layers, musicians often needed two modules to combine Piano 1 with EP 2 Chorus.
KGSP Signature Sounds recreates that common MIDI layer as one accessible Yamaha patch while retaining the combined musical character.

KGSP Signature Sounds is made only for the original 2016 Yamaha MONTAGE, MODX, MODX+ and MONTAGE M Series. Do not purchase it for MOXF, MOTIF, Kontakt, Nord, Roland or another platform.
OS 3.51+
The original MONTAGE must be running firmware Version 3.51 or newer.
OS 2.52+
The original non-Plus MODX must be running firmware Version 2.52 or newer.
Supported
MODX+ and the MONTAGE M Series are included in the supported Yamaha model families.
1 GB USB
A USB flash drive with at least one gigabyte of capacity is required to load the sounds.

No. This is a focused Yamaha collection containing selected KGSP signature sounds, church layers and rendered performance stacks.
Do I need Kontakt after installing the sounds?
No. The sounds perform directly from your supported Yamaha keyboard after they have been loaded.
How many sounds and layers are included?
The published collection contains four Back the Preacher variations and twelve additional named sounds or layers.
Why are some stacks rendered as one sample?
Combining the musical layers into one sampled sound helps reduce the number of Yamaha parts and polyphony resources required to recreate the complete stack.
Is this compatible with MOXF or older MOTIF models?
No. The product is only for the original MONTAGE, MODX, MODX+ and MONTAGE M Series.
