We consider the SY99 FM Synthesizer the Greatest FM synth ever made, even topping the famed DX7.

It’s “RCM” (Real-time Convolution and Modulation) Synthesis - which was the marriage of “Advanced” FM synthesis coupled with the “AWM2” PCM sample engine, resulted in the some of the best sounds ever heard as well as never heard on any other Synth!

While we understand that we cannot re-create RCM nor it’s individual tone generation methods (AFM & AWM2) through samples, our hope is to give you a version of these incredible sounds through Kontakt’s advanced sample playback engine!

Included are what we consider to be some of the best Sounds on the SY99 you can find in it’s Factory and User Banks as well as online!

This Library includes deep multi-sampled Electric Pianos, Synths, Pads & Bells all recorded directly from the SY99!

Within Kontakt, Snapshots are simply a saved state of the library.
More specifically, this is comprised of sound layers for you to instantly recall.

Included Presets are Single and Stacked Sounds, 4 Element layers that go beyond what you could originally layer with an actual SY99 and so much more!

Saving a new User Preset is as simple as clicking the the “Floppy Disk” save icon as seen in the picture above.
